Альбом был тепло встречен не только поклонниками старой школы Fates Warning, но и фанатами прогрессивного металла в целом, тем более, учитывая, что Джон Арч отсутствовал на каких-либо официальных студийных записях со времени выхода A Twist of Fate EP в 2003.
