Therion (греч. «зверь») — шведская симфоник-метал-группа, основанная в 1987 году. Therion считаются старейшей группой в стиле симфоник-метал и одними из основателей этого жанра (наряду с более поздними Nightwish). С середины 1990-х их композиции записываются и исполняются с участием живых оркестров, приглашённых вокалистов и хоров. Большая часть песен группы касается различных мистических учений и мифологии народов мира.
Основатель, лидер и главный композитор Therion — гитарист Кристофер Йонссон. Остальной состав группы непостоянен, много раз менялся и часто дополняется приглашёнными музыкантами.
