Испанская группа Dawnlight зародилась в 2016 году как совместный проект Javi Morales (вокал, гитара) и Nestor Valencia (гитара). Дуэт записал 4-х песенный EP "Eternity", под влиянием таких групп, как
Stratovarius, Wintersun, Helloween, Ensiferum .
В апреле 2017 года, после успешной краудфандинговой кампании, группе удалось выпустить свою первую работу на CD. EP имел успех на национальном и международном уровнях (Япония, Канада, США), что дало возможность дуэту расшириться до четырех человек: они добавили в состав басиста Andres L. S. и барабанщика Miguel X.
В феврале 2018 года дебютировал презентационный тур "Eternity", в котором музыканты выступили на одной сцене с группами: Koma, Dünedain, Mago de Oz, Angelus Apatrida
