Легендарные шведские дум-металлисты CANDLEMASS выпустили 12-й студийный альбом "The Door To Doom" 22 февраля 2019 года на лейбле Napalm. Как и следовало ожидать, на этом диске лидер группы, автор песен и басист Лейф Эдлинг (Leif Edling) продолжает делать то, что принесло ему славу в предыдущие годы: эпический первоклассный дум-метал, в основе которого лежат медленные мамонтоподобные риффы.

На "The Door To Doom" в состав CANDLEMASS вернулся вокалист Йохан Лонгквист (Johan Längqvist), заменивший Матса Левена (Mats Levén), который пел в группе последние шесть лет, но так и не записал с ними ни одного полноформатника. А в качестве гостя на альбоме появляется Тони Айомми (Tony Iommi) из BLACK SABBATH, сыгравший гитарное соло в песне "Astorolus - The Great Octopus".
