Бывший вокалист SENTENCED и POISONBLACK фин Ville Laihiala создал новую Groove/Thrash Metal группу S-TOOL (S-Tool - аббревиатура тяжёлого строительного сверла "Severing Tool.")
Группа выпустила дебютный альбом "Tolerance 0" в 2017 году. Диск получил прекрасный приём в Финляндии, а песня "Hammering" постоянно крутилась в эфире финского радио. "Tolerance 0" также был выпущен в остальной Европе и Японии, где пластинка поднялась на вершину цифровых чартов.
Второй альбом команды "Exitus" увидел свет 15 мая 2020 года на лейбле Playground Music.
Помимо Лайхалла, в S-Tool также входят гитарист Sami Leppikangas и басист Kimmo Hiltunen из группы Lullacry, а также барабанщик Aksu Hanttu, известный по его собственной метал-группе Entwine.
По словам Лайхиалы, музыка его группы более прямолинейна, чем у POISONBLACK и SENTENCED, и ее стоит сравнивать скорее с PANTERA и ENTOMBED.2017 - Tolerance 0 [King Rec., KICP-1883, Japan]
