Meat Loaf Aday — «мясной рулет», «мясная голова») — американский рок-певец, кино- и театральный актёр. Получил широкую известность после выхода успешного альбома Bat Out of Hell и нескольких песен к кинофильмам. В 1981 году изменил имя на Майкл.
На сегодняшний день Bat Out of Hell является 21-м самым продаваемым в Великобритании и пятым в мире. В 2002 году альбом занял 84-ую позицию в рейтинге «100 лучших рок-альбомов всех времён» по версии журнала Classic Rock. В 2003 году альбом занял 343-е место в списке «500 величайших альбомов всех времён» по версии журнала Rolling Stone.
